1)How does Greg feel about writing a
diary?
Greg hates to write a diary. This is his mom’s guilt that it is called “diary”.Diary must be safe, because it does not . If his brother ever finds out he’s scrubbing toilets instead of Greg, Greg’s dead. But from other side he likes that. Because of writing the diary he doesn't have to do other chores on Saturdays.
2) What are the reasons Greg agreed on writing his diary?
If he writes a little bit each day he is dismissed of one shore on Saturdays. He also agreed to do that because when he’s rich and famous he’ll have better things to do.
3) What is Greg's opinion on the seating in class?
About seating in class Greg says that you must be very careful of
where you sit. Because when you find a desk and plunk stuff down next to the desk, teacher says
4) Why sitting next to girls does not seem a very nice option to Greg?
Day 2
1) Tell in your own words what happened to Greg on the first day of his summer vocation.
On the first day of summer vacation, Greg brother Rodrick woke Greg up in the middle of the night dressed in his school clothes. Rodrick told him, that he slept through the whole summer but that luckily Greg had woken in time for the first day of school. Rodrick also had set Greg's clock ahead and pulled the blinds shut. Greg got up and got dressed and went downstairs to fix himself some breakfast. Then came his Dad and saw Greg eating Cheerios at 3 a.m. He had no idea what Greg is doing. Then Greg told that Rodrick tricked him and they went to Rodrick's room. But he was sleeping.
Day 3
1) Do you think it would be nice to have Greg in your class? Why? (Consider his behaviour with P.U.)
I don’t want such a boy as Greg in our class. He’s funny and maybe friendly, but he likes to joke and everything first and goes wrong. Then there will be many problems with him and other people as well.
2) How does Greg feel about his younger brother?
He doesn't like that Manny destroys everything what he finds. Greg expected, that if he will have younger brother, he could pick on him. Like Rodrick on Greg. But he was wrong. But parents protect Manny. Greg can't pick on him, even if he does something to tick Greg off.
Day 4
1) What's up with the Cheese Touch?
Darnell Washington fell and brushed the cheese with his finger and started this whole thing. It's some kind of game. If you get touched with Cheese Touch you will have it until you pass it on to somebody else.
2) Why did Greg tape his fingers?
Greg said the only way to protect yourself from the Cheese Touch was to cross you fingers and it was really hard to remember to keep your fingers crossed all the time. Especially when whoever had the Cheese Touch was looking for his next victim.
Day 5
1) Does Greg enjoy Saturdays?
No, because Greg can't stand the taste of his breath. Plus Greg's dad wakes up early disturbs Greg’s sleep. Greg is very angry when it happens. But he trying to enjoy Saturdays.
2) Why wasn't his best friend mentioned till this day?
Greg haven't mentioned his best friend till now because he has been avoiding him. Rowley ticked Greg off on the first day of the school. He asked Greg to come over Rowley’s house to play. Other kids heard it and started call them “nerds”.
Day 6
1) What worries Greg? Why?
Greg worries, because his Dad is interested about Bishop Garrigan school which is only for boys . Number one he wants to go to Crosland High School where there are boys and girls and number two he wouldn't survive the first day at Bishop Garrigan.
Day 7
1) Does Greg enjoy his mornings before school? Why?
No, because when he woke up at Monday morning, he thought that it was still summer vacation, which was a bad way to start a school day. And he got new job to fix Manny his cereal every morning when he is watching a T.V.
2) How did Greg try to get into his preferred reading group?
Greg did his best to muff up his screening test to make sure he didn't get put in the hard group. He also made sure that he didn’t try to hard on his end of the year essay.
